New Delhi, March 30: Maruti Suzuki, India’s largest car manufacturer, has announced a price hike across its entire lineup, effective from April 1, 2025. The company has cited rising input costs and inflation as key reasons behind this decision. With an increase of up to 4%, the price surge will impact popular models such as Maruti Alto K10, Baleno, Wagon R, Grand Vitara, and Fronx. Some models are expected to become ₹1 lakh costlier after the revision.
Fronx to Become Costlier by Up to ₹51,000
One of the most popular compact SUVs, the Maruti Suzuki Fronx, is currently priced between ₹7.52 lakh and ₹12.88 lakh (ex-showroom). After the price hike, customers may have to shell out an additional ₹30,080 to ₹51,520, depending on the variant.
New Expected Price Range: ₹7.82 lakh – ₹13.39 lakh (ex-showroom)

Why is Maruti Suzuki Increasing Prices?
The company has attributed the price hike to the rising cost of raw materials, supply chain disruptions, and inflation. Earlier in February 2025, Maruti Suzuki had implemented a minor price hike, primarily affecting low-demand models like the Jimny and Ciaz. However, the upcoming increase will impact almost all models in the lineup.
April 1 Deadline – Last Chance to Buy at Current Prices
With the price hike taking effect from April 1, 2025, potential buyers have just two days left to purchase their preferred Maruti Suzuki car at the existing rates. Dealerships across India have reported a surge in bookings as customers rush to avoid paying more.
