In this regard, the gates of the college were not opened on Wednesday. After the encounter outside the college gate, the Lady Shri Ram College administration decided to stop physical classes and start online classes instead. The principal of the college has taken this decision by sending a notice.

Recently, a case of gang rape of a minor came to light in Delhi. According to media reports, the gang-rape of a 17-year-old minor came to light at Astha Kunj Park near Kalkaji Temple on Monday around 7 pm. Three people were involved in this. Aastha Kunj Park is a short distance from Lady Shri Ram College. In this connection, Delhi Police tried to nab the accused, under which the main accused was arrested in the encounter on Tuesday. The encounter took place at a distance of 50 meters from Gate 2 of Lady Shri Ram College.

A high-level meeting at the college on Tuesday with security in mind

After the encounter near Gate No. 2, Lady Shri Ram College came into administration mode, under which students, teachers and staff were prohibited from going near Gate No. 2. In this regard, a high-level meeting was held at Lady Shri Ram College on Tuesday night. According to information, the meeting discussed the fear and security of the students after the incident, after which it was decided not to organize physical classes in the college on Wednesday. Online classes were organized instead. According to information, the college administration has contacted the Delhi Police regarding the security around the campus. After this, it has been decided to hold physical classes from Thursday.
