The six-episode limited series comes from Jesse McKeown, a creator and writer associated with The Umbrella Academy. Hartnett plays Calvin Penney, a fisherman haunted by his father’s mysterious death who finds himself at the center of a growing supernatural mystery.

The trailer introduces a remote Newfoundland community thrown into chaos after an unidentified creature emerges from the surrounding waters. Calvin works with marine researcher Fonda Howander, played by Mackenzie Davis, as they attempt to understand the threat and uncover secrets connected to the island.

Charlie Heaton plays Calvin’s son Wade, while Ruby Stokes, Rohan Campbell, Willow Kean and Kaleb Horn also star in the series.
