Mohammed Siraj: Gujarat Titans (GT) pacer Mohammed Siraj put on a stellar performance against Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in their latest IPL clash. The right-arm fast bowler dismissed two key RCB batters early in the innings, setting the tone for Gujarat’s strong bowling display. Siraj bowled three overs in the powerplay, conceding just 15 runs and taking two crucial wickets. By the end of his spell, he finished with 3 wickets for 19 runs, marking his best-ever figures at Chinnaswamy Stadium.

Siraj’s Magic with the Ball

Despite getting hit for a boundary on his very first ball by Virat Kohli, Siraj quickly bounced back with some exceptional bowling. He clean bowled Devdutt Padikkal, dismantling his off-stump. Later, in the fifth over, Siraj faced an aggressive Phil Salt, who smashed a massive 105-meter six off him. However, Siraj had the last laugh as he bowled Salt out on the very next ball.

Three-Wicket Haul for Siraj

Mohammed Siraj continued his dominance in the 19th over, where he dismissed the dangerous Liam Livingstone. The English batter, who had already scored 54 runs, tried to hit a big shot but edged the ball straight to wicketkeeper Jos Buttler. His wicket was crucial in restricting RCB’s total.

RCB Post 169 Runs Despite Early Setbacks

Batting first, RCB managed to score 169 runs in 20 overs despite an early collapse. Liam Livingstone (54), Jitesh Sharma (33 off 21), and Tim David (32 off 18) played crucial knocks to help the team recover. Among Gujarat’s bowlers, Mohammed Siraj was the standout performer with 3/19, while Sai Kishore picked up two wicketsArshad Khan, Prasidh Krishna, and Ishant Sharma chipped in with one wicket each.

Siraj’s fiery spell against his former franchise, RCB, was a key highlight of the match, proving once again why he remains one of the most lethal pacers in the tournament.
