New Delhi: Indian oil companies have released the latest petrol and diesel prices for 31 March 2025. The good news for consumers is that there has been no change in fuel prices, providing stability amid fluctuating global crude oil prices. Currently, crude oil is trading between $70 to $74 per barrel, but oil marketing companies have kept fuel rates unchanged.
No Change in Fuel Prices Since Last Year
Petrol and diesel prices have remained stable for nearly a year. The last revision occurred in March 2024, just before the Lok Sabha elections, when fuel rates were reduced by ₹2 per litre. Since then, despite fluctuations in crude oil prices, oil companies have not revised petrol and diesel rates.
