Pune, April 16: Residents of Pune are advised to use water judiciously as several parts of the city will face a complete water supply shutdown on Thursday, April 17. According to the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), this disruption is due to essential maintenance and repair work being undertaken by the Water Supply Department.
The civic body has also announced that on Friday, April 18, water supply will resume but is expected to be delayed and at low pressure in the affected areas. Normal supply will be restored from Saturday, April 19. (PUNE NEWS)

The water cut will impact several localities including:
- Nilgiri Chowk
- Chintamani Dnyanpeeth to Trimurti Chowk
- Bharati Vidyapeeth area
- Bharati Vihar
- Chandrabhaga Nagar
- Sawant Vihar, Sawant Garden
- Wonder City, Kadam Plaza
- Gyanshi Garden, Manik Moti
- Narayani Dham area
- Dattanagar, Santosh Nagar
- Ambegaon Budruk Gaothan
- Ambegaon Khurd
- Jambhulwadi Road, Dhabadi and surrounding areas
PMC has appealed to residents in these areas to store enough water in advance and plan their water usage carefullyover the next two days to avoid inconvenience.
Despite the temporary disruption, authorities have assured that regular supply will resume as per schedule starting Saturday.
