Bajaj Pulsar NS200 and NS400Z will get a new TFT setup, the bikes will reach dealerships before the launch.

Bajaj Auto is gearing up to enhance its Pulsar NS range with new technology updates. The updated variants of the Pulsar NS200 and Pulsar NS400Z have reached dealerships ahead of the launch. Both the bikes will feature the company’s new 5-inch TFT instrument cluster, which will be a major upgrade in their features.

The 5-inch TFT display will have many smart features available

The biggest change of the new Pulsar bike will be seen in its instrument cluster. The new 5-inch TFT display will come with Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity. It can be connected to Bajaj’s smartphone app.

Navigation information from Google Maps can also be viewed on this display. The special thing is that users using Android phones will be able to use navigation even when the screen of the phone is off. Apart from this, the rider will get features like controlling music, viewing call alerts and receiving notifications from third-party apps right from the bike screen.

Important documents can be kept in the bike

Bajaj has also provided digital document storage facility in the new TFT system. In this, the rider can digitally save important information like his driving license, insurance and registration certificate. Both the bikes have also had their switchgear changed to control the new display.

The NS200 will get a hardware upgrade

The Pulsar NS200 will not only get an update on the TFT screen, but changes can also be seen in the hardware of the bike. The updated NS200 is expected to be provided with WP Apex USD front forks. Due to this, the 200cc Street Fighter is likely to get a more premium suspension setup than before.

Apart from this, the tire and braking system of the bike are also reported to have been changed. However, Bajaj is yet to officially confirm both these changes.

The engine is expected to remain the same in the NS400Z

At the same time, no major mechanical changes are expected in the Pulsar NS400Z. The existing 349.13cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine can be continued in the bike.

This engine generates 40.6 bhp of power and 33.2 Nm of torque. That said, the main focus in the NS400Z is expected to be on updates to the technology and instrument cluster.

Bajaj Auto is yet to officially announce the launch date or price of these two updated bikes. However, their arrival at dealerships suggests that the launch is not far away.

It is expected that the company may reveal their pricing and sales information before the festive season. With a new TFT screen and hardware upgrades in the NS200, both the Pulsar models will be equipped with more technology than before.

Demand for cars will remain strong during the festive season, but low stock and lack of supply can be a hindrance.
