The NSE is currently trading at a P/E of 43 times. The world’s top five exchanges trade at multiples of 25 to 30 times. While the range of top 10 exchanges is between 24 to 34 times. The reason behind this premium valuation is the company’s excellent EBITDA margin. NSE’s operating margin is 66.9 percent. This is very high in the range of 53-80 percent of the world’s top five exchanges. Investors are confident that the company’s earnings will increase significantly in the future.
