Government job opportunity in Haryana, Recruitment for the post of Food Safety Officer

There are job news for youths who are preparing for government jobs in Haryana. Haryana Public Service Commission (HPSC) has released the recruitment notification for 45 posts of Food Safety Officer (FSO). Candidates studying Food Technology, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Chemistry and related subjects can apply for this recruitment. Online application process will start from 28 September 2026. Eligible candidates have to complete the application process by 19 October 2026. Selected candidates will be responsible for work related to food quality and safety.

45 posts will be recruited

HPSC has released this recruitment to fill total 45 vacancies of Food Safety Officer. The notification has been released by the commission on 18 September 2026. Candidates can apply online from 28th September. The last date for submission of application and fee is fixed as 19 October 2026.

Which candidates will get a chance?

For this recruitment candidate should have degree from a recognized university in Food Technology, Dairy Technology, Biotechnology, Oil Technology, Agricultural Science, Veterinary Science, Biochemistry or Microbiology. Apart from this, candidates with Master’s Degree in Chemistry or Degree in Medicine can also apply.

Candidate should have studied Hindi or Sanskrit subject in 10th or higher standard. Age limit is fixed from 21 to 42 years. The reserved categories will get relaxation in maximum age as per government rules.

Interview after exam

Candidates will be selected through Screening Test or Written Examination. The exam will consist of multiple choice questions on relevant topics and general knowledge. As per the prescribed cutoff, successful candidates will be called for interview. Verification of original documents will also take place in this round.
