IIT Delhi Launches New Executive Program in Semiconductor, AI and Deep Tech, Know Fees

IIT Delhi has launched its second batch of executive programs based on semiconductors, artificial intelligence (AI) and deep-tech entrepreneurship. In this six-month online program, participants will be exposed to semiconductor and photonics technologies along with AI and high performance (HPC). Besides, topics like commercialization, intellectual property, funding and startup scaling will also be a part of the course. The application process for the program is ongoing and interested candidates can apply till 30 September 2026. This course is especially useful for working professionals, researchers, engineers and those preparing to start a career or startup in the deep-tech field.

How many months will the program last?

This executive program launched under the Continuing Education Program (CEP) of IIT Delhi will be conducted through online medium. It will start from 9 January 2027 and the program will run till 12 June 2027. There will be a total of 80 hours of live online learning. Candidates who have completed graduation from any subject can apply for this.

Focus will be on these areas

Semiconductor, AI and deep-tech entrepreneurship are given priority in this program. Along with this, information about photonics will also be given. Photonics describes the use of light technology for communication and computing. Participants will also be informed about semiconductor and photonic devices technology along with their commercial applications.

6 core modules will be covered

The course consists of six core modules. These include semiconductors and photonics for deep-tech, advanced semiconductors and electronic devices, photonics devices for AI, deep-tech entrepreneurship in semiconductors, industry interactions and case studies. Apart from this, information about pitching and fundraising for deep-tech startups will also be provided.

Fees, Application and Certificate

The total fee for this program is Rs. 1,50,000 is. On this 18% GST has to be paid separately. Candidates can also pay the fee in installments. Last date to apply is 30 September 2026. Candidates who complete at least 40% attendance in the program will receive a participation certificate. Pass certificate will be awarded to those who secure minimum 50% marks with 40% attendance. These certificates will be issued in digital form by the CEP of IIT Delhi.
