PhD Admissions: There will now be two opportunities for PhD admissions in a year, in January and July

Prof. There is a relief news for the candidates who are preparing for PhD in Rajendra Singh (Rajju Bhaiya) University. The university is now preparing to conduct the PhD admission process twice a year. Under this there will be separate admission cycles in July and January. This system will be implemented on the basis of rolling advertisement, which will allow re-admission as per available research seats. Preparations for PhD in 24 subjects are underway in the university and its affiliated research centers. Also, the application process has started for new and existing colleges taking affiliation.

PhD admissions will be taken twice a year

Prof. Now candidates will get two chances in a year for admission to PhD in Rajendra Singh (Rajju Bhaiya) University. The university has made preparations to conduct the admission process under rolling advertisement. The first admission cycle will be held in July and the second in January. In the rolling advertisement system, applications will not be accepted for all PhD seats only once. If the seats remain vacant in any admission round, they can be included in the further process. With this, candidates will not have to wait much for further admission process.

Preparation for PhD in 24 subjects

Preparations are underway for PhD in a total of 24 subjects in the university and its affiliated research centers. Apart from this, research centers have also been set up in eight government and aided colleges of the department. Also, faculty and research facilities available in affiliated colleges, apart from the University, can be utilized for Ph.D. According to Akhilesh Kumar Singh, holding the admission cycle in January and July will give researchers an opportunity to apply twice a year.

Application for affiliation of colleges started

New colleges desiring to take affiliation from the university and institutions starting new subjects or courses in existing colleges can apply for the academic year 2027-28. As per the schedule released by the higher education department, the last date to apply online is 31 October 2026. Apart from BEd, applications are invited for other new subjects and courses. After applying, colleges will have to submit documents related to fee receipt and NOC to the university by November 2, 2026. The land related documents will be verified by the revenue department. NOC for colleges to be issued online by 20 January 2027. The last date to appeal the university’s decision to the government will be January 30, 2027.
