Cam Skattebo is adding a new role away from the football field as the New York Giants running back becomes a brand ambassador for The Farmer’s Dog ahead of his second NFL season. The partnership gives Skattebo another opportunity to showcase a different side of his personality, this time alongside his three dogs.
The 24-year-old running back and the dog-food delivery company announced the partnership on Instagram, where the brand also released Skattebo’s first advertisement featuring Duke, Daizy and Cheech.
Skattebo has become known for his physical style on the football field, but the new campaign focuses on his relationship with his pets.
In the advertisement, Skattebo features his three dogs and discusses his connection with them. He said he was proud to show fans that he is a dog lover despite the persona he has developed as a football player.
The Giants running back also explained that loyalty is one of the main reasons he prefers dogs as pets. His comments provide a more personal look at the player as he prepares for another NFL season.
The new business venture comes as Skattebo gets ready for his second season with the Giants.
New York selected Skattebo in the fourth round of the 2025 NFL Draft after his standout career at Arizona State. His rookie campaign was cut short after eight games when he suffered a season-ending right ankle injury.
The Giants are entering the 2026 season looking to improve after finishing 4-13 in 2025. Skattebo and New York are scheduled to open the season against the Dallas Cowboys at MetLife Stadium.
The Giants have also highlighted Skattebo during training camp, releasing a mic’d-up video that takes viewers behind the scenes with the running back during practice. The footage offers fans a closer look at Skattebo away from game action as he prepares for the new season.
With his return to the field approaching, Skattebo is entering the season with both a football comeback ahead and a growing profile outside the NFL.
