If you think that all the cars that will be launched in September have been launched now, you are wrong. Not one or two but five new cars are going to be launched in India in the next 10 days. So let us tell you about the vehicles that will be launched through this news. Including- Tata Eris, Tata Eris.ev, Renault Triber Turbo, Honda Elevate facelift.

Tata Eris- New variant of Tigor

Tata Motors is discontinuing the production of its popular sub-compact sedan, Tigor in India. The company is planning to launch a new model named Eris to replace this sedan. The exterior design of the Eris has received extensive changes, including a slimmer grille, larger lower air dam, LED reflector headlamps with DRLs and LED fog lamps.

A new purple color is also available and the rear gets connected LED tail lamps, a redesigned boot lid and a new bumper. On the inside, the Eris is expected to get a 10.25-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, semi-digital instrument cluster, automatic climate control, cruise control and auto-folding airbags. It is expected to get safety features like six airbags, ESC, hill-hold assist, 360-degree camera, rear parking sensor and TPMS.

The Eris will be powered by a 1.2 liter naturally aspirated petrol engine, which will generate 86 PS and 113 Nm of power. Apart from this, it will also get a CNG version, which will generate power of 76 PS and 97 Nm. Both the cars will be available with 5-speed manual and 5-speed AMT transmissions. The Eris is slated to launch on September 25 and will be priced between Rs 6 lakh and Rs 10 lakh (ex-showroom).

Tata Eris.ev – Tigor.ev replacement

Apart from ICE Aeris, Tata Motors will also launch Aeris.ev in India on September 25. The electric sedan will basically replace the Tigor.ev and is expected to share its electric architecture with the updated Tiago EV. The same 19 kWh and 24 kWh battery packs can be found in it, with a range of around 226 km and 285 km.

It will include a connected LED tail-light design and new alloy wheels inspired by the Curvv EV. Talking about the interior, the EV is expected to get a single 10.25-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a fully digital instrument cluster and automatic climate control.

Along with this, it may include wireless charging, Type-C port, rear AC vent and 360-degree camera. Six airbags are also expected to be provided as standard. Its price is expected to start at around Rs 7.50 lakh and go up to around Rs 9.49 lakh (ex-showroom).

Renault Triber Turbo

French automobile manufacturer Renault is finally going to solve the Triber’s biggest problem i.e. low power output. The company is planning to launch a turbo-petrol version of the Triber. The seven-seat MPV is expected to be powered by a 1.0-litre three-cylinder turbo-petrol engine, the same engine used in the Kiger and Nissan Magnite.

In the Kiger, this engine generates 100 PS and 160 Nm of power. However, the engine tuning for the Triber is yet to be decided. Hence, it is believed that the new engine will come with a 5-speed manual gearbox, while a CVT automatic gearbox is also being considered. Renault is also expected to launch a factory-fitted CNG version with the same engine. The CNG setup will have dual cylinders placed under the boot floor to conserve luggage space.

It will almost always have a manual gearbox option. The Triber is currently powered by a 1.0 liter naturally aspirated petrol engine. The Turbo version is currently priced at Rs. 5.81 lakh to Rs. 8.53 lakh is expected to be between. It is likely to be launched by the end of September.

Skoda Slavia Facelift

Skoda has introduced the Slavia facelift, which brings some minor exterior changes and some important features to the updated sedan. The front gets revised LED DRLs, sharp bumpers, textured air dams and LED fog lamps, while the 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels get a new design. At the rear, the LED tail lamps have been updated and now have sequential indicators. The Monte Carlo variant gets black exterior elements, black alloy wheels, red brake calipers and red accents on the grille. Skoda has also included Arctic Silver and Cappuccino Badge in the color palette, taking the total number of colors to 10.

As for the interior, the Slavia gets an updated 10.1-inch touchscreen with AI assistant and a larger 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster. The sedan also gets rear seat massage function, 360-degree camera and front parking sensors for the first time. Other features include automatic climate control, wireless charging, a sunroof and wireless smartphone connectivity.

Engines remain the same, with the 1.0-litre TSI engine producing 115 PS and 178 Nm and the 1.5-litre TSI engine producing 150 PS and 250 Nm. However, the smaller engine now gets a new 8-speed automatic gearbox in place of the previous 6-speed automatic gearbox. The 1.5-litre engine has the same 7-speed DSG gearbox as before. The facelift model is priced at Rs. 11 lakh to Rs. 18 lakh (ex-showroom) is expected to be between.

Honda Elevate facelift

The facelift model of Honda Elevate will be launched in early October. This will be the SUV’s first major update since its launch in India. The facelift will see changes in the grille, front and rear bumpers, lighting elements and alloy wheels. At the same time, its overall appearance will remain almost unchanged.

On the inside, Honda is expected to add a larger touchscreen, digital instrument cluster, new upholstery and ventilated front seats. The SUV may also get an improved 360-degree camera and an updated ADAS suite, which will include features like adaptive cruise control, autonomous emergency braking and lane assist.

Talking about the engine, the Elevate facelift is expected to come with the existing 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine. This engine generates power of 119 PS and 145 Nm. It will also be available in 6-speed manual and CVT automatic gearbox options.
