Motorola Signature 27 phone launched with 200MP camera, powered by powerful Snapdragon chip

Motorola has launched the signature phone at the Snapdragon Summit 2026. The handset is the second model in the brand’s Signature series, following the launch of the Motorola Signature earlier this year. This new flagship is one of the first smartphones announced with Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 chipset. It has a 50-megapixel Sony LYTIA 910 main camera and a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto camera. Motorola has adopted a new nomenclature with the Signature 27. It uses the last two numbers of the next year to identify the new generation of the phone.

Motorola has not yet announced the price or sale date of the Signature 27. However, the company has confirmed that the smartphone is expected to be launched in the global market later this year. The Motorola Signature 27 will come in two colors. Pantone Coal Smoke and Pantone Capulet Green.

Motorola Signature 27 features

The Motorola Signature 27 is equipped with Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 chipset, which was introduced at the Snapdragon Summit 2026 along with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6. According to the company, it comes with better on-device AI, camera performance, gaming response.

This flagship model also features Motorola’s ArcticMesh cooling system. This thermal solution combines diamond-infused thermal gel, liquid metal and copper mesh with a newly designed 3D vapor chamber. Motorola says the vapor chamber is 40 percent larger than the previous generation.

Motorola Signature 27 Camera

Talking about the camera, the Signature 27 has a 50-megapixel Sony LYTIA 910 main camera and a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto camera. Motorola is also introducing its own video enhancement engine. AI features are also present in Google’s Gemini. Signature 27 will support Gemini Omni, which can convert prompts, photos or existing video footage into finished videos.

You can also create music and soundtracks using Google’s Lyria. Motorola claims seven years of operating system upgrades for the Signature 27. According to media reports, this smartphone will be launched with Android 17. The Signature 27 is Motorola’s first smartphone to feature a B&O audio system.
