Iranian President Masoud Pajeshkiyan hit back at US President Donald Trump during his address to the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) on Wednesday. He rejected Trump’s statement calling Iran a terrorist country. He said that Iran itself has been a victim of terrorism. Along with this, Pajeshkian also accused America and Israel of attacking the soil of Iran.

During his address, Pezheshkian also showed photographs of the victims of the Minab school attack, which he used to highlight the innocent civilians killed in the conflict. The Iranian president also showed graves and photographs of children and other victims, speaking about the attacks on Iranian civilians. While presenting his speech, he mentioned the assassination of Iran’s Supreme Leader and attacks on Iranian citizens and institutions.

America-Israel was targeted

He said, ‘I come from an Iran where our supreme leader was killed without any legal framework or reason. I come from Iran, where a school was actually bombed. Do you see these children? These children were crushed to death by weapons bombs used by the US and Israel. He was innocent, he had committed no crime.

Pajeshkian said – Iran protected itself

Responding to the Iranian attack, Pezheshkian said that Iran defended itself, but also claimed that its forces did not intentionally target civilians. He said, ‘Our innocent people have become the target of a cowardly attack on our country. We defended ourselves with all our might. He further said that America and Israel attacked us with advanced technology, but we did not surrender.

Pajeshkian responded to Trump’s ‘threat’

Responding to America, President Pezheshkian also said that if someone threatened, he would not talk at all. In fact, US President Donald Trump addressed the United Nations General Assembly on Tuesday and said that Iran has only two options, either deal or go to hell and it must decide for itself. Trump also said that if the conflict is not resolved through talks, he has the option of making a deal with Tehran or completely destroying the Islamic Republic.
