NEET PG 2026 Result: The National Board of Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has released the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET) PG 2026 result. NEET PG 2026 has been conducted by NBEMS for admission to Post Graduate Medical courses, the result of which has been released by NBEMS on Thursday, September 24. NBEMS has declared the result of NEET PG 2026 on its official website natboard.edu.in and natboard.edu.in. For the first time, NBEMS has declared raw score and rank along with NEET PG result. While NBEMS will now release the answer key of NEET PG 2026 by 1st October and thereafter.

The NEET PG 2026 exam was held on 30th August.

The NEET PG 2026 examination was conducted on August 30 by NBEMS at examination centers established across the country. NEET PG 2026 exam was conducted by NBEMS for 2.65 lakh candidates. However, the exam could not be held on August 30 in two exam centers across the country.

Re-examination was held in Jaipur

The main examination of NEET PG 2026 was conducted on August 30 in one shift from 9 am to 12:30 pm. 2,73,096 candidates had registered for this exam, while 2,65,980 candidates appeared for the exam. Technical problems were reported at two examination centers located in ION Digital Zone, Sitapura, Jaipur. NBEMS conducted the re-examination on 5th September for the affected candidates of these examination centres.

Candidates who appeared in NEET PG 2026 can check the result through official website natboard.edu.in and natboard.edu.in. Candidates will need login credentials to view the result. For example, candidates can check the result by signing into the website using application number and date of birth or password.

The answer key will be released on October 1, SC directs for the first time

This time a special emphasis has been laid on transparency in the process of NEET PG 2026. Following the instructions of the Supreme Court, NBEMS will also provide the answer sheet of the candidates along with the answer key. Along with this, candidates will be able to match their recorded answers with the correct answers released by the board. In this series, the answer key may be released on or after October 1. The answer key will contain the ID number of the questions, the ID of the questions answered and the number assigned to each question as per the evaluation scheme.

What was the cutoff

If we look at the cutoff of NEET PG 2026, the qualifying percentile is determined as 50th percentile. In NEET PG 2026, the cutoff for General and EWS i.e. 50th percentile is 262. Similarly, 45th percentile of general PwBD is 244, 40th percentile of SC, ST, OBC is 226.
